Did you really won tickets in the TOKYO 2020 OLYMPICS LOTTERY ?

after a very tedious application the results proved to be more disappointing than ever before. First, I had to wait on the official site in a queue with hundreds of people to see if I was selected as a prize recipient for tickets to the 2020 Olympics Games to be held here in Japan. That was followed by an application status, which showed failed for all the 6 tickets I’ve selected amid the difference in category. Then, an e-mail followed to rub it in and provide a little bit more anxiety surrounding when I will be able to try the lottery again. I started to wonder and then it hit me….

Goodness!!! this must have been an experiment. My subconscious was like, “Knowing how Japanese are so afraid of making mistakes, this has got to be a TEST, silly…lol” Anyways, I am disappointed that my 40 something thousand yen seemed like rather chump change as I was not awarded tickets,

My ticket history was such a disappointment
The official disappointing e-mail

I wonder what’s the strategy or comeback from this. I know I could care less about tickets now. However, I might apply for one of those mascot visa cards. Ha!.

Here is what I may end up with…. lol After all…

Tokyo 2020 Olympics committee, did you really issue any tickets?

  1. I want to know what was up with their site also. Every time I went to apply it would direct me to the foreigner site even though I live in Japan.

  2. Maybe your computer location settings reflect another country. Try checking that. As for the 2020 site, lots of people seem to have a little trouble with it…
I need to know why too
